My husband and I started looking around March 2024 for venues. We found one with availability, but it was only 5 months away. Part of our contract required us to use a wedding planner, and Penny was one of the recommendations. I’m so thankful she was because she was absolutely a huge help in making it one of the best days of our lives.     On the day of the wedding, my team said they also had a great experience with her.  The weather that day was not great (cold and very windy), and Penny and her assistant were very helpful to my team.  The event was all around great, and my team and I would gladly work with Penny again.

  • We had the absolute pleasure of working with Penny at Andrew and Melissa’s wedding at Sydalyn Hill last weekend, and she was such a joy! From start to finish, Penny was kind, professional, and so easy to work with. She’s incredibly detail-oriented, which made the whole day flow smoothly and effortlessly, not just for the couple and their guests, but for all of us vendors too. Having a coordinator like Penny who really takes care of the big picture and the little things makes such a huge difference on a wedding day.

    Her assistant, Karen, was also amazing—super helpful, always on top of things, and such a fun person to chat with throughout the day. The two of them make such a great team, and you could really feel how much they cared about making sure everyone was comfortable and supported.

    On top of all that, Penny knows Sydalyn Hill inside and out, which was a huge help in keeping everything running seamlessly at the venue. That kind of experience shows, and it really put everyone at ease.

    Overall, we had such a wonderful experience working with Penny and Karen, and we would absolutely recommend Penny to anyone planning a wedding; especially if you’re getting married at Sydalyn Hill! She’s truly a fantastic coordinator, and we can’t wait to work with her again!

By the time our wedding came to a close, my husband and I joked that we might need to get married again just so we had a reason to keep her.
